You spot a dog running down the street. It looks like the one you saw on a flyer, while out walking the day before. What was the phone number on that flyer?
Get in the habit of taking photos of lost animal flyers. People often find themselves in need of remembering a number they saw on these flyers and very seldom will have further opportunity to reunite a lost pet and owner.
Having immediate access to that number means you can call a distraught animal lover and often track the lost animal while waiting on a very gratuitous pet owner.
Not having immediate access to the number means traveling back to the spot where you saw it and most likely losing the opportunity to reunite loved ones. There’s also the chance the sign’s been taken down or the elements have destroyed it since you originally viewed it.
Real men save animals. It’s just part of what we do.
