How to Gain Weight by Sleeping Less


Gaining excess weight despite being on a diet? A new study released by the Sleep Journal confirms that a lack of sleep can be a significant factor in adding unwanted body fat.

The study was conducted by the University of Pennsylvania and it focused on 225 adults in a controlled sleep environment.

The results confirmed that a lack of sleep contributed to weight gain and that adults who tend to regularly go to bed later are more susceptible to this weight gain.

It was also stated that sleep-deprived adults will more often choose fattier foods and eat later in the night. Remember though, this is only a problem if overall calories are too high. The problem is made worse if too many of these calories come from a carbohydrate source.
