We love it when new smartphone apps are created to help us live healthier lives. The latest is an app that allows you to track your cholesterol levels.
The credit goes to Cornell University researchers, and they describe a process whereby a smartphone user can use a simple phone attachment to read reagent strips – chemical strips commonly used to track cholesterol levels.
The downside is that you have to perform your own draws but if you’re man enough to stick a vein and extract some blood then you just might love this new app/device.
And hey.. if that’s not cool enough, the same researchers are also in the midst of creating an app that can track Vitamin D levels, as well.
We’re still waiting for the app that can track Leptin – for help with fat loss.
