For 45 minutes, a man from Beachwood Ohio lay in the University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center with no discernible pulse, blood pressure or heart rate.
That’s 45 minutes in which his brain had no oxygen.
Consider that brain cells begin to die after one minute of no oxygen and after only three minutes, serious brain damage is likely.
After fifteen minutes with no oxygen, it’s nearly impossible for someone to recover.
This man from Ohio, however, is walking around and talking like it never happened – except for the amazing story he tells about the experience in crossing over to Heaven during the 45 minutes of being brain-dead.
Brian Miller, 41, had suffered a major heart attack and while hospital workers feverishly worked to restore his vitals, Miller reports having seen a beautiful light at the end of a heavenly tunnel.
In traveling towards the light, Miller gives an account of having met his recently deceased mother-in-law and formerly deceased father-in-law.
He says of his mother in law, “She was the most beautiful thing when I seen her. It was like the first day I met her and she looked so happy. She grabbed a hold of my arm and she told me, ‘It’s not your time, you don’t need to be here. You’ve got things to go down and do.'”
Miller states that the after-life experience has changed him and his views on dying. “Love really is the most important thing” he says. “There is an afterlife and people need to believe in it big time”.
